Mercy and Sharing is an internationally recognized charity, which is helping thousands of children in the impoverished nation of Haiti.  Importantly, every dollar donated goes toward the needs of the children.  The founders of Mercy and Sharing, Susan (Susie) and Joe Krabacher pay 100% of the administrative costs out of their own pocket.

Mercy and Sharing operate the following facilities:

Mercy House Orphanage 1 & 2:

Mercy and Sharing has two orphanages that are home to 109 healthy and disabled/terminally ill children.  These children are given nutritious food, fresh water, clothing, shelter, security, education and LOVE.  Approximately 70% of the children are disabled or terminally ill.

School Program:

Mercy and Sharing operates two schools, which educate more than 600 children.  The children are also provided with a hot meal five days per week, including the summer time.

Feeding Program:

Through their feeding programs, Mercy and Sharing will provide more than 830,000 meals in 2009 to the people of Haiti. 

Abandoned Infant Unit (ABU):

The ABU serves as a critical care facility for orphaned and abandoned children at the Haiti University Hospital.  At any given time, 30+ critically ill infants will be provided with medical attention.

Mercy and Sharing Clinic:

Open five days per week and treating almost 1000 patients a month, the clinic houses a pharmacy and a cervical cancer screening program.  In addition, a robust vaccination program is provided.
